Wh40K: Abandoned Ragnorak by StugMeister Wh40K: Abandoned Ragnorak by StugMeister
Kreig Infantry move cautiously towards an abandoned Mossinian Ragnorak tank.

About 5 hours altogether in PS CS1.

I'm really happy with how this pic turned out! :)

I think the Ragnorak was definitely inspired by the KV2 - also there are design elements from the T28, T35, Churchill and the A9 cruiser tank.

By far the coolest looking Imperial Guard regiment, just wish the models weren't so damn expensive

You have talent good sir!

Thanks. :D

I agree, the regiment is probably one of my favourites. As well as Armageddon Steel Legion and the original Cadians.

Well it's no secret that the Cadians are the best trained and have the best equipment, at least according to the Codex. Another one of my favourites are the Elysian drop troops, they look pretty menacing, even without gas masks and trench coats.

No problem, I aspire to be able to draw like that one day.

I would think the krieg soldiers would be dead already if it was not abandoned. Or maybe some evil minded exeno or traitor sits inside just waiting. Hmm. Wonder what they did if it suddenly turned around and then a banner whit the word: BOOOOM! rulled out of the cannon and it was a idiot inside having a joke whit them.

Very intense. I love the angle on this piece and the calm makes you think you are moving toward the tank very slowly. =)
