Wh40K: Aeronautica Imperialis by StugMeister Wh40K: Aeronautica Imperialis by StugMeister
I had a quick play with my Wacom and managed to get this done in 40 minutes!

I've not done any artwork for a while after moving house, so this was a quick excercise to get back into action!

Air Combat is often neglected. Nice to see it pictured.

I've managed a couple of pics so far but they really don't show much 'battle'.

Check out my gallery. :)

Thanks mate - no problem!

I use Photoshop CS1 for all my paintings, although the next pic I'm gonna try Painter.

I tried Painter for my latest pic and was quite chuffed with what I came up with.

It really is a wholey different package from the way Photoshop behaves though!

It's nice and hectic (in a good way!), it really represents aerial dog fighting as a whole and captures the feel of the Aeronautica Imperialis game perfectly.

Thanks BrookM - to be honest I've never played the game but I am an avid WWII amateur historian so I'm glad I've managed to capture the hecticness of it all!

My favourite is the Ork fighta bomba at the bottom right, But in all of them the lighting effect kicks nuts

Cheers man, Hope you get along & smooth with your new house soon.

Thanks Eterno-Huevon!

The house is coming along nicely cheers. I think we've gotten to the point where we definitely feel at home now. Just a shame that there's always things going wrong - the latest being our re-directed post going to a totally different address!!!!
