November Update

Hi everybody,

I've been working on a couple of pics over the last month. These are again for the Epic UK Tournament. I'm pretty chuffed with what I've done and should be posting them up next weekend. :)

I've also recently upgraded to a new iMac. My Mac Mini has lasted a good seven years and it was time to upgrade. I am liking my new machine, but there are a couple of sticking points chiefly being that my old Wacom tablet is not supported plus the fact I'm purchasing new software as my old software is not compatible with the newer machine. :(

Heads Up

Hi Guys,

It's been a tough year following on from the loss of my mum in November. The toughest in fact.

Since then I've not managed to do any artwork. I've not had the inspiration, the energy, the 'mojo' as it were.

There is some good news however! I've been working on a couple of commissions over the past couple of months, so hopefully I'll be able to post them up soon.


Just a little heads up.

Sorrow and Mojo

Hi Guys,

I've not really been too communicative of late; My mum passed away back in November following her battle with cancer. To say my world was shattered is an understatement. I am ok. Better than I thought I would be. I think I have been helped with the pain mainly through the love of my wonderful wife and two lovely boys.

The two pictures I painted recently, Wh40K: Titan Legion on the March and Wh40K: Eldar Avatar were both painted whilst my mother was spending her final days in a hospice. The painting helped me through what was one of the most difficult periods of my life. I have projects to work on, many ideas to scribble down but at the moment I'm feeling kinda empty on the creative side. My artworking mojo is still deep down within me. Inspiration is still flourishing it's just I don't have the spark - the energy to create for the time being.

See you on the other side, when I've found a way through this morass.
